If you have a book ready for reviewing then just maybe we can help. And the good news is, you receive not just the one review, but three! That's right the same review will be posted up in three different places. Your book, once reviewed, will be put up:

On Amazon.co.uk
On the Writing Pad Website Book Review Page
On the Ezine Articles site under their book review section

Ezine Articles is one of the oldest biggest and best article exchanges where articles are picked up and reproduced around the world, sometimes hundreds of times, thus giving your title precious publicity around the globe.

The review will remain on the Writing Pad website for a minimum period of one year. It will remain on the Ezine Articles site indefinitely. We have no control how long the review will remain on the Amazon.co.uk site. We cannot accept pornographic, over-violent, politically extreme, racist, illegal, or any other books deemed to be offensive. Please do not send such titles.

Please note this carefully:

Books submitted for review must be completed and published, or about to be published works. We do not accept proofs, drafts or galleys. The book MUST BE clean and unmarked throughout. They MUST NOT be marked "For Review Purposes Only" or "Not for Resale" or bear any other similar markings. Books that have been defaced in any way WILL NOT be reviewed.

Q: What if my book is not listed on Amazon?
A: If your book is not already listed on Amazon, we will write page for it, and add it to Amazon's listings at no extra charge. This is one of the reasons why we need a clean and pristine copy, because we will scan a cover picture and upload it to the Amazon site.
Q: Does my book need an ISBN?
A: Though it will help to sell your book in the future, it does not have to have an ISBN for us to review. We WILL review non ISBN books.
Q: Do you review books from overseas?
A: Yes we do.
Q: Do you review books in other languages?
A: No. All books must be written in English.
Q: Do you accept emailed copies of books or e-books themselves?
A: No. We only review printed books and only from the printed copy.
Q: Can I reproduce the reviews?
A: Yes of course. Please credit the review to theWritingpad.co.uk Book Reviews.
Q: Why do you charge to review a book?
A: It takes a long time to read a book and write and post the reviews. We do make a small charge to cover some of the costs involved. If the book took a week to read and process, you can work out the tiny benefit per hour for yourself. It is a very reasonable cost.
Q: Will my book be returned after reviewing?
A: No. Books are never returned. It will remain the property of the reviewer for them to dispose of as they wish.
Q: So what happens to them?
A: Some reviewers keep them for their own collection. Some pass them on to friends. Some give them to charity shops. Some may even sell them to help pay for their time. The reviewer is free to do whatever they wish with the book once the review has been written and posted.
Q: Do you guarantee a good review?
A: Certainly not. We try and be constructive at all times. If the review is an especially bad one, we will email it to you before posting and ask if you wish us to proceed with the postings. The best way to get a good review, is to write a good book. Pay attention to detail. Don't rush into print. Double check spelling and grammar, spend some time and money on the cover. The time will always be well spent. As we said, we do try hard to be constructive. If you have written a decent book, there is nothing to worry about. The biggest mistake some writers make is to rush it out. Take your time, and do it well. The book will benefit, and so will you.
Q: So come on then, how much is the cost?
A: We charge 25 pounds sterling to review your book and post the reviews. For overseas readers the charge is $40 pre-paid by Paypal.
Q: If I don't like the review or disagree with it, can I have my money back?
A: No of course not. Once the work has been done we never refund fees.
Q: How long does it take to complete the review?
A: Not an easy question to answer because it does depend on the length of your work, and how busy we are, but we do try hard to complete reviews within one calendar month of receipt.
Q: Do you review Poetry and or Technical books?
A: Yes to poetry. If the Technical books are extremely detailed and specialist we can review the book from the point of view of production and appearance and the general writing and layout. Obviously we could not comment on subjects about which our reviewers might know little or nothing. If in doubt perhaps an email enquiry beforehand might be advisable.

Books Ready For Review:

Once your book is ready for review, slip it into a jiffy bag type envelope and post together with your remittance of 25 pounds to TrackerDog Media, 118 Ringwood Road, Walkford, Dorset BH23 5RF. (Overseas reviews cost $40 and must be pre-paid by Paypal. Please enquire for details.

Don't forget to include a note as to where the book is available and the price if it is not already on the cover.

Make sure you have read and understand all the Q & A's, especially in relation to sending clean and unmarked books. Defaced books will not be reviewed under any circumsatnces. Need A Book Trailer For Your Book?

You’ve written a book, done all the hard work, proofread it half a dozen times, had it published, and now the hard work really begins!

After all, what is the point of writing and publishing a book if enough people don’t know anything about it?

Writing articles with links to your sales websites is always a good way to promote your books and your websites, but increasingly readers are looking for video.

Video can bring your book to the attention of a whole new audience, and it need not cost you a fortune.

We can produce a basic video trailer promoting you and your work for less than fifty quid. We’ll post it for you on Youtube, on the Writing Pad website, and another book trailer site such as blazingtrailers.com.

We’ll also include on the Writing Pad site immediately below the trailer a direct link to Amazon, so that potential readers can immediately switch through and buy.

If you are interested in this you will need to send us an unmarked copy of the book. We will use this to incorporate the cover and may be part of the blurbs within the trailer.

Here are a few quick Q & A that may help:

Q: How long will it take to produce my trailer?

A: Depends on how busy we are. We will try and complete it within two weeks, but if you want a more definite delivery date, we suggest you email us first.

Q: Can I put the trailer on my own website?

A: Of course you can, and on any other website too that allows it. Our advice would be to place it wherever you possibly can. The more people that see it the better! Simply go to Youtube, copy and past the embed code, add it to your site; (and others!) and job done.

Q: What length of trailer do you do?

A: Research shows that anything over two and a half minutes is likely to have the viewer reaching for the off button. Some of the best trailers are only about a minute and half long. Sometimes less really is more. A brief taster, if you will. Mostly we do between one and a half and two and a half minutes in length.

Q: Can I include photos and other images?

A: Yes, you can, we welcome those, simply email them to us as an attachment, or post them to us if you prefer.

Q: Will a trailer really help me to sell more books?

A: Anything that promotes your book to a wider audience will help to raise its profile. No one can ever guarantee that you will sell more copies, but the trailers are picked up by the search engines, and they will bring more potential buyers to your website.

Q: Do you read and review the book too on this service?

A: No, we don’t guarantee to read the entire book here, unless it catches our eye and grabs our interest of course. If you want a written review, please see the separate book review service.

Q: Couldn’t I just do this myself?

A: Of course you could, but if you don’t have the time, or the inclination, then 49.50 is not a lot to pay for several hours work. Incidentally we have just come across one well known company offering a similar service for $1,250! We kid you not!

Q: What happens if I don’t like the trailer? Do I get my money back?

A: No sorry, we’d be disappointed if that were the case, but as we would have done the work, the payment would stand. Take a look through the other trailers posted here. They will give you a good idea as to what you might expect.

Q: Okay, I’m interested, what do I do next?

A: Simples! Pay the money; send the book, and any special instructions or ideas you may have. We will acknowledge receipt and begin work as soon as time allows.
