Readers’ Reviews
We will soon be launching a readers’ reviews section and would welcome your own reviews on books you have recently read. If possible a scanned picture as an attachment would also be welcomed.
If you have a link to your own website, if you have one, we’d be happy to include that too at the foot of your review.
When writing a review please bear in mind the following guidelines.
- Never give away the ending or too much information, or indeed any great twists and turns within the book.
- Try and keep any criticism as constructive as possible. Book assassinations and downright nasty reviews will not be published. If you are reviewing a book on a subject that you have written a book about, then please say so.
- We will not publish reviews on racist, over violent, or on any books that we deem inappropriate for this site.
- Try and keep your review to within 200 words (minimum) up to 800 words, (maximum) though we will not be too strict on that if the occasion demands.
- Please check your spelling thoroughly because we will not necessarily do it for you, and yes we know we can make the occasional spelling mistakes here too, though we prefer to call them typing errors!
- There is no limit to the number of reviews you can submit, though we do not, and cannot, guarantee to publish any of them. We suggest you try one to begin with and see how we go from there.
- Finally, it would be fun if you could tell us a little about yourself, a very short biog if you will, at the foot of the reviews.
- We reserve the right to edit reviews where necessary at our discretion.
If you would like to contribute a book review please feel free to do so as soon as you are ready. Please email it, or them, to supalife@aol.com and mark the subject line BOOK REVIEW. Don’t forget to include a scanned pic of the book as an attachment if you possibly can.
